Young people today need to be grounded in the important
truths of God’s Word, that is the goal here. Our Youth Group is
not filled with games and fluff. It is serious Bible Study geared
for teens who live in the real world of challenges to their faith
and the way they want to live for Jesus Christ.
Learning what the Bibles says is just the beginning. It’s about
understanding the important doctrines of the Faith, how defend
the Faith and how to share YOUR Faith with others who will not
always agree. It’s about living what you believe in the world and
knowing when it is all said and done that, by the grace of God,
you did it well.
If you are ready to be challenged to grow in your faith and be
active in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ it’s time to get
GROUNDED!
Our current study is a study of “ORIGINS.” Where did
we come from? How did we get here? and What is our
purpose in life? It is a study of the first three chapters of the
book of Genesis and their implications on life. We will cover
topics like God, Creation, Anthropology, Sin and Redemption.
These topics are vital to knowing Jesus Christ and walking in
a right relationship to Him. It all begins here!
John Calvin’s famous Institutes of the Christian Religion
begins with these words, “Our wisdom, in so far as it ought to
be deemed true and solid Wisdom, consists almost entirely of
two parts: the knowledge of God and of ourselves.”
Come out and join us every Monday Night at 7:00 for worship,
prayer and serious Bible study. Monthly activities are also
being planned for building fellowship in a community of young
people who are serious about living out their faith in the world!
